Do I need a reservation?
Not always. Reservations are only required for Afternoon Tea and breakfast. For all other visits, you are welcome to join us without prior booking.
Do I need to reserve scones?
No reservation is required for scones.
Do you offer Afternoon Tea?
Yes. We offer two refined Afternoon Tea experiences:
Afternoon Tea Royal – a selection of savoury and sweet bites, warm scones, and three teas chosen by our team.
Afternoon Tea Imperial – our signature
Afternoon Tea, complemented by 1 dl of champagne.
Do you serve gluten-free cakes?
Yes. We always offer at least one gluten-free cake.
If you have specific wishes, please let us know — we are happy to prepare a cake tailored to your needs.
Do you offer vegan options?
We are pleased to prepare vegan options upon request.
If you follow a vegan diet, please contact us in advance so we can prepare everything with care.
Can I host a baby shower at UMAMI?
Yes. We are delighted to host baby showers in our tea house. You can find our Baby Shower Menu here.
Can children visit UMAMI?
Yes — children are warmly welcome in our tea house. We have a lovely selection of toys and books.
Are dogs allowed?
We kindly ask for your understanding that dogs are not permitted inside the tea house. This is due to Swiss food regulations as all our teas are open.
Do you host weddings or private celebrations?
Yes. We welcome intimate weddings, celebrations, and private gatherings in our space.

Yes — we offer elegant settings for corporate meetings, small business events, and team occasions.
